I have certain items that I restrict to only be sold in the USA. Just recently a customer noticed a warning “XXXXX has been removed from your cart because it can no longer be purchased. Please contact us if you need assistance.”

All non-restricted products work fine and if I disable this plugin, everything works like normal. I have updated all plugins and cleared the cache.

    Please advise.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @rawkus2g,

This is a cart message coming from the Woocomerce plugin. If a product is restricted, and the CBR plugin removes that product from the cart item list. The Wooommerce plugin then displays this message.

If you want to change that text on the cart page. So, that functionality available in the CBR PRO plugin.

    Thanks ??

I think you misunderstood. The product is being removed even though it shouldn’t be. I’m in the USA and testing for a product only sold in the USA. The plugin has worked fine for years and now isn’t working properly.

This is still not fixed and not solved.

    Hi @rawkus2g
maybe its how you do the test? we have a detection admin bar that you can enable from the settings.
Also, you can force the Geo-Location option in the settings while you do testing you need if you want to ignore the country from your account.

Detection admin bar says I am from the United States. If I use a fresh browser, I can add the item to the cart, but when I go to the enter address screen, the item is removed. If I force geo-location, it seems to work. It’s not a perfect solution but good enough for now. I am not sure why it worked previously for years but requires that option now.

Hi, CBR determines the visitors Shipping Country by the following:

CBR checks if the customer is logged-in with an account on your store, the Shipping Country is taken from the customer account Shipping Address.
If the shipping country does not exist for the customer or that it’s a guest customer, the plugin will detect the customer country by the WooCommerce GeoLocation (customer IP)

I asked you to remove it just for testing since if you are an administrator and you have a shipping address it might confuse you while testing and you can always set it to be only by the Geo-Location if you want to ignore the shipping country from the customer address.

    Thanks.
