    This is not wpForo issue for sure. There is some JS code or PHP code in current active theme or in some plugin which clears all attributes of link HTML tag in menu section. The only way to find that problem maker is clearing all cache and disabling “WP-Super-Cache” plugin during the checking, then deactivating all other plugins, checking again. If the problem is fixed, then activate plugins one by one and find the problem maker.

    If you didn’t find it, you should switch the theme to some default theme, delete all caches and check it again. So if this is a theme issue you should contact to the theme developers and ask them a question, something like this “How can I disable the theme function which affects menu items and strips link HTML tag attributes?”.
