Items inserted into a text block aways appear at the beginning

I’m testing Gutenberg with one of our plugins and noticed that when I clicked a button to add a short code in a text block, it added it before all the text in the block and not at the cursor position at the bottom of the text content. I repeat this when inserting an image from the media library. The inserted image is always added to the top, not at the cursor position in the content of the text block.
