Items being created as Simple product and not variations and category is wrong

    I created a support ticket already for this but posting it here in case someone else is having the same issue with series 2.x of this plugin

    I am using the new version of WooCommerce Square and am having the following issues

    1. Items are being imported as Simple Products instead of Variable Products so it won’t automatically sync. When I change the item to a variable product then do a sync then it imports the SKUs but I still have to go back in and check the box “Update product data with Square data” because its unchecked.
    2. Its not importing categories. It marks every item as uncategorized even though it has a category in Square. It did not do this previous to version 2.0

    We will be sure to follow up with you regarding the support ticket – were you able to find resolution? I am not able to see your user there (do not post it here for security reasons).

    In this case (for public visibility) it may be a conflict with a different plugin or theme. I will dig further into this and when we get a solution in your ticket I will be sure to post it here as well, with your permission.

    I was able to locate the ticket, and it looks resolved as it was a failed initial import. If you were able to re-import and it still had errors, please reply to the ticket and let us know.
