Item Review snippet type

  • Hi,
    I am using the item review option in this plugin. When I select it for a post it asks for an item review type.

    The closest match appears to be a product review as I am reviewing board games. However when I select it, it seems like this is intended for retailers not sites that simply do reviews.

    Should I just not select a review type from the list? Would that still work?

    Or is this review function not intended for reviewers but more retailers?

    As per Google guidelines, the itemReviewed is Required properties, and without itemReviewed fields, the site will display an error on the Rich Results Test site.

    Further, you can set the itemReviewed type as per your site requirement from the drop-down menu.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the response. However I am still getting issues with this. When I select itemReviewed as product and add the product name the reviews rich snippet works fine.

    However the product rich snippet returns an error which says:
    “Either ‘offers’, ‘review’ or ‘aggregate rating’ should be specified’

    I have already selected review from the drop down list and the other two fields are not options on the product rich snippet.

    So still not working properly. Are you able to assist please.

    Thanks for the response. I tried using the rich test results when the issue first showed in google search console. It showed the following error:

    “Either ‘offers’, ‘review’ or ‘aggregate rating’ should be specified’

    None of these fields are available within the plugin to complete when you select review -> product.

    In the end I trialled using ultimate blocks review as a tester for one page and ran the test and it worked without issue, so I converted all of my reviews to that.

    However I have still retained articles using all in one rich snippets. It is not yet recognised in google search console though. Are you able to confirm if all is working. Here is one of the pages I have applied the article category:
