Item not removed from Side Cart when removing it from WC cart

  • If you remove a product from the Woocommerce default cart page, it is not removed from the Side Cart.

    Then, without refreshing or changing the page, if you open the Side Cart and try to remove the product you just removed from the WC cart, the spinner icon just spins and nothing happens.

    You must refresh the page or load another page for the Side Cart to show the updated values.

    Can the Side Cart be made to keep in sync with the WC cart when removing items?

    It should sync by default.
    Could be a plugin conflict on your site. If you know how to check console for errors.
    Please check otherwise share your website link.

    @xootix Thanks for the reply.

    I’m using Elementor Pro page builder with the Cart widget on the same page as the product rather than a separate page so there’s a slightly different flow to the default WooCommerce flow but the same thing happens if I am on the actual Woocommerce cart page.

    SideCart picks up when items are added to the cart but not when they are removed. The cart item is removed from SideCart after reloading the page.

    There are no console errors.
