Item Attributes has no “parent record” field

    I am trying out the Gutenberg editor and have a custom taxonomy called “Properties”. Before Gutenberg there was the Parent Page / Parent Item field that enables me to create a hierarchy of taxonomy values.

    That field has now gone and I don’t know how to get it to return. It’s basically broken some critical functionality and will break the site once it goes live.

    Does anyone know of a way for me to get that “parent” field back in the Item Attributes Box?

    Hi,

    You are quite right, there’s a bug right now, you can follow it in the appropriate GitHub ticket though, and see when things are sorted, or provide any more insights we might have missed.

    No apologies needed, it’s not always easy to find them, I merely remembered it from earlier in the day.

    I hope your Gutenberg testing has been enjoyable besides this little drawback.
