Italian transition words not detected in readability analysis

    I have a blog in multiple languages using polylang. My English articles correctly detect the transition words but all the ones in Italian say no transition words detected as below;

    Transition words: None of the sentences contain transition words.?Use some.

    I am using the default wordpress editor, with no special blocks. The language is properly set on the html document for the different articles, as it-IT or en-GB. Yoast plugin version is 21.2

    Any idea why this might be happening?
