It works on post not on pages

    I’ve tested this plugin on post and on a page. It works great in the post but does not work on a page. In a page it displays the featured video image but when I click to view the video it’s not in the page. I decided to use it in a page because I’d like flexibility with the display.

    I’m using a main (parent) video page with each video post as a sub page to create a video gallery page with the plugin auto nav.

    This functionality hardly depends on the theme. Some themes use featured images for posts but not for themes. Some use them on both, but differently on pages. I tested some themes like the new official WordPress Twenty Thirteen theme and they work fine.

    Please provide more information on which theme you use. If I can I will attempt to fix it. Regards, Alex

    Well, the Twenty Twelve theme does not even use featured images for pages on it’s own. This is the file which displays single posts. It uses <?php the_post_thumbnail(); ?>, where my hooks into. The theme does not do this when displaying pages.

    The AutoNav plugin seems to grab all the featured images from sub pages and displays them on it’s own – not using featured images functions and so my plugin cannot hook into it. My plugin only attempts to replace featured images – AutoNav displays just attachment images which happen to be specified as featured images for the sub pages.

    Nothing I can do about this, sry. It certainly is not a fault of my plugin, which works fine with featured images & videos for pages – if the theme uses the core functions.

    The featured image for video is showing fine. The video is not showing in the page only in the post.
