it works but wreaks havoc
-
Two stars for doing what it is supposed to do. However, it fundamentally messed up my site, and support will not reply. Installing PolyLang stripped the featured image from all of my posts and pages. It also renders media library inaccessible from within page editing; in other words, my content is still there in the library, but it no longer shows up in the “Choose Media” or “Add Media” window popup when editing pages or posts. The second issue is immediately fixed when disabling PolyLang, but the first issue is permanent. And PolyLand features, including menu additions, are removed once the plugin is disabled. So I now have to spend countless hours going back into every page and post reinstalling the featured image while PolyLang is disabled and not rendering it’s multi-language benefits. PolyLang gave a flippant answer, blaming it on Lingotek, which I’ve proven wrong. Super disappointing, considering the clearly valuable aspects of the plugin.
