It works apparently, but..

  • as the challenge question is inefficient I’m getting tons of spam subscriptions. Had to remove it.
    After 7 months from my experience I see people having the same issue, maybe a 1 star rating can help the fixing process, this is a serious breach.

    Sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with the plugin.

    The spam subscriptions are through the “subscribe without commenting” method, correct? Subscriptions that aren’t connected to a specific comment?

    sorry to see you getting pestered by someone not taking responsibility for getting a good anti-spam plugin, which obviously should not be your task. I’m very happy with WP Cerber. And absolutely delighted with your plugin.

    But I am interested in your mention of “subscribe without commenting” – as far as I see one must submit a form here, with the own email address. A good anti-spam plugin should catch every form submission, so also ths one.

    So my question: Why did you mention that? Is there some special problem with it in practice?
