Spam Shield does what it claims. STOPS SPAM! I’ve been using this plugin since 2014 after being very frustrated with a ton of spam. As of today (July 19, 2015), WP-SpamShield has blocked 23,409 spam! That’s 123 spam a day that you don’t have to worry about.
