    This plugin doesn’t support Php7.4
It will appear “502 Bad Gateway” when the user login, if enable email verification on registration.

  • Hello @tcleicrystal,

I am really sorry to know you are having problems.

We couldn’t reproduce the issue on our end. But we can assure you that our plugin is compatible with the PHP 7.4 version. In such case, I would suggest you navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Email Verification > Email and change the value of the Email options > Mail function option and see if the issue persists.

Also ensure that you are using the latest versions of WooCommerce (6.9.4) and Email Verification (2.4.4) plugins.

However, if the problem continues, then please contact us through our forum as www.remarpro.com is so restrictive. We can discuss the issue further there.

    Kind regards,
    Moshtafizur

I get the 502 bad gateway immediately after the user clicks the “Register” button.

To solve my 502 problem, I needed to select “Force redirect using sessions after the user is registered” in advanced tab. I created a “Registration Help” page to which the user is redirected to. There I provide information for the user on what to do and if things don’t work as expected.

Thank you for providing us with the solution you have found for the 502 problem you were experiencing. We appreciate your effort in troubleshooting the issue on your end.

Please reach out to us if you require any further assistance or have any additional questions.
