• I’m dealing with a WP website developed by a third party.

When i change the css style i can see the changes right away (refreshing).

When i change something in the content or the Widget it take something like 1 hour to see it in my browser (tested Mac, Windows: FF, Safari, IE).

I have disabled the WP-cache, but that doesn’t help.
    Any direction ?

  • Try ‘force’ refresh in Firefox by hitting Ctrl+F5. It sometimes helps.

If not (and you have also tried emptying the browser cache, turned off caching Plugins etc.) then it is probably not a caching issue.

Did you cleaned the chached pages before. Maybe you need to delete them form your server.

    Good luck.

Hi and thanks to stop by.

Yes I have emptied the cache folders i found (may be more) on the server. wp-content/cache

Yes i have cleared my browsers cache (also by deleting the files themselves). The Ctrl+5 work once (after a 1hour change) then i have to wait again.

This reinforce my thought about a cache i’m missing somewhere in the WP (i didn’t install it). Grrr…
