It simply won't micropost to Twitter or Facebook

When I make a post with the plug-in activated, an error comes and says the following: Fatal error: Call to undefined function curl_init() in /home/porchwen/public_html/wp-content/plugins/microblog-poster/microblogposter_curl.php on line 48
If you can, please help me with this. I would like for my blog to post to fb and twitter.
