it seems that there is a bug

  • I tried to install, but the system warned me with the follwoing message:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function xprofile_insert_field_group() in /home/content/24/8753224/html/wp-content/plugins/bp-profile-widgets.php on line 423

    Hey Dawson,

    The function the errors refers to is from BuddyPress. This plugin requires BuddyPress to be installed and active already. Is that already installed on your site? If so, what version? If not, you’ll need to install BuddyPress first.

    yes, I install the BuddyPress toolbar. the bug is still there, do you have any idea? thanks

    Just to be clear, you need to install this one:

    Not this one:

    Hi, Slushman, thanks, this time no bugs showed up.

    I am having the same issue with BP Profile Widget. I received the same error message:
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function xprofile_insert_field_group() in /home/bmckman/public_html/wp-content/plugins/bp-profile-widgets/bp-profile-widgets.php on line 435

    Need assistance!

    bmckman, please read the solution above. There is no bug, you must install BuddyPress first. The BP Profile Widget plugin requires BuddyPress in order to work since it displays widgets on BuddyPress profile pages.
