it seems not to work at all

Same for me…
No text strings are showing up in polylang “String translation” tab.

That probably means that the theme I’m using (Headway) doesn’t use pll__(‘…’); calls…

Any clue?

Add ?> in all .php files or make a small change:

plugins/polylang-theme-string/mw-polylang-theme-string.php line: 162

replace for:
preg_match_all(“/\<\?.*?$/uis”, file_get_contents($v), $p);

I have the same problem, I can’t found any options for my theme. My theme is Solido:

I did the change suggested in the comment before but nothing has changed. Any suggestion?
