Hey, so that notice is simply telling you to navigate to the appearance > theme options for those settings as they are not in the appearance > customizer.

Since you have the toolkit activated you can go to appearance > theme options > home layout to see all your home layout options.

Thank you so much @Kadence Themes!
It did work! I wasn’t noticing the theme options menu.

    Thanks a lot!

Hi! Sorry for reactivating this topic, but I have the same problem, which cannot be resolved the way you specified. I go to the appearance > theme options, change the settings, save them, and yet it still says I need to activate the plugin, and I know it is already activated…Can you please help me with this? Thanks!

Not all options that are available in the appearance > theme options are available in the appearance > customizer.

The notice you see just alerts you to make sure the toolkit is active and to navigate to the appearance > theme options for more theme options. That notice is not going to go away its there to let people know there are more options avalible on the options page that are not in the customizer. Does that make sense?

Yes, it makes sense…Thank you so much for the quick reply.

    Hello,
I am having a similar problem. I have Virtue as my theme. When I go to appearance, there is an install plugins option and it has the toolkit as a required plugin that I must install but when I try to install it always fails because it says that the destination folder already exists. I know that it had been installed and was working before several months ago. It has not been a huge problem – just my contact form I noticed was not working. But, now my image sliders are not working.
    Please advise!

Looks like you have an empty plugin folder in the plugins folder of your site. Access the web files through your server and navigate to the wp-content/plugins folder. Remove the folder called “virtue-toolkit” and then go back to your site and install.
