It really improve (some) perfomance!

I just installed Lazy Load by WP Rocket; on the first hand, Google PageSpeed results increased from 50 to 60 for mobile, and from 75 to 80 for desktop. On the second hand, image requests decreased.

I tried JetPack image lazy load and I didn’t get those results.

However, I found theses issues:

– Image loading is as bad as JetPack’s. In my case, images “jump to the browser” when I scroll, i.e. lazy load isn’t smooth.

– GTMetrix PageSpeed score dropped from 82 to 75 since “Serve scaled images” parameter is now 0 (zero). Actually, I don’t know the difference between GTMetrix PageSpeed and Google PageSpeed. I just can assume that GTMetrix PageSpeed isn’t updated.

Even so, Lazy Load by WP Rocket is a helpful plugin, essay to use and with instant results.
