It obliterated my current formatting

  • Whoa! As soon as I loaded and activated this plug-in, my website lost all its formatting. So much work lost. I deleted it but can’t get my formatting back. Be warned.

    I’m trying to track this down.

    Did you already have a theme name with the name you chose for your child? (I can add a check to prevent doing this).

    What do you mean by “obliterate” Could you not load to the original theme? What files and directories got deleted?

    I just installed and activated One-Click child theme because i wanted to modify the testimonial plugin (GC Testimonial).

    I am new to WordPress and didn’t want to mess up anything so I’ve decided not to modify the testimonial plug in after all.

    Now when I click Appearance and Themes, it shows that the child theme is the one active.

    How do I modify the settings to point it to the Parent theme instead?
