It's great ! but

  • Before do anything I did images backup using this plugin , then I chosed some options for test and wanted to back origin. When I chosed restore this plugin restored just 120 imgaes from 12 500 .
    I was lucky that I doing often whole backup for my wordpress. So be cerfull , do full backup befoer use !

    Anyway this is great plugin , it delete 18 000 unused thumbs.

    Thanks for your, well, not-so-nice comment. However, I appreciate that you took the time to report the issue in here so I can work on a fix so that nobody else will experience a similiar thing.

    The backup function is supposed to backup all data within the wp-content/uploads/ directory. If the backup was created successfully, it should contain all the files. Try having a look at the .zip backup file the plugin created in wp-content/backups/thumbnail-cleaner/ and see if your missing files are in there. If yes, you can download the file and re-upload the content to your uploads directory. If not, I’ll have to see if I can find the problem.

    I changed my review coz I been able to restore most of imgaes.
    Backup isn’t work well coz it stops after couple minutes without any issue. All folders been on place but mostly empty. When I manually zip upload folder I have about 1300mb ( this program did about 40mb ).

    Anyway this plugn is greate, it just deleted few needed images but help me clean tons of unused thumbs.

    But if you can find this small bug with backup, it will be best plugin ever !

    Thanks for the change of mind. It sounds like your server limits the amount of data that is allowed by PHP to be processed. I’ll run some tests.
