It just keeps getting better

With years of experience sending newsletters, I was formerly of the opinion that no WordPress plugin could possibly offer the robust features of the hosted solutions. I was quite pleasantly surprised to see how feature-rich this plugin is, and how gracefully it works when it’s time to create a newsletter.

I have the Pro version, and have found that the developer is very prompt in responding to questions–priority support being one of the reasons I opted for the Pro license.

In my case, I send mail through Amazon SES, and it works flawlessly.

Now, one thing I should mention. This plugin (and any newsletter plugin, really) is best suited for those willing to configure lots of options, customize templates to your needs, and test, test, test. If this isn’t your “thing,” you’ll probably be better off going with one of the providers of this kind of service, such as MailChimp. For me, though, I love the full control I get from this best-in-class plugin.
