It just doesn't work!

Plugin version 1.2 posts to your Facebook timeline using an app access token. We’ve also added more details on configuring your Facebook application to publish with the Facebook plugin for WordPress.

I followed the exact process as stated in your link. I had it all setup but I still couldn’t get the first post to be published so that I can submit the action for approval. Any idea?

Have you changed the publish date of the post? If it’s still past-dated, you will not post it to Facebook.

Only new posts will show, so just change the date to 1 min in future from your current time.
