    Hi Carmine, if you look at the forum here and in our blog, the problem with spam from Russia has been fixed a while ago and the plugin offers a number of configuration to block spam, like a captcha a domain and ip filter, the integration with akismet and the antiflood system.

    You should check with version of the plugin you’re using and when that spam subscriptions happened. Those information are useful for us to improve the antispam filter, if you want to take a little time to share them with us.
