It is not possible to edit the form after updating wordpress

    After updating wordpress from 5.5.3 to 5.6, I cannot edit the form fields. The right side menu doesn’t pop up so I can’t do anything. When I create a new form, it works, but when I want to edit it and press the gears next to a given field, then nothing happens (the right menu is not displayed)

    The system on which it works:
    -wordpress 5.5.3, divi 4.66 and Ninja forms 3.4.25

    System on which it does not work:
    -wordpress 5.6, divi 4.82, and Ninja forms 3.4.34

    I tried repeatedly to restore the previous versions of the system – the problem is in the wordpress update itself

  • I am having the same issue on a site I help manage, but only after another WordPress developer was hired and did a horrendous job.

    Is there a way to fix this?

    Check your php version. I found totally weird things happening with php7.4 but not with 7.3.2

    By default, I have 7.3.23 on hosting, but I also tried to change to 7.4

    Hi guys. I want to share with you that I solved this problem by downgrading to WordPress version 5.5.3. WP Downgrade plugin helped me. With this, I can edit any ninja-form

    I am facing the same issue with almost all my client’s account where I use ninjaform …… should I try downgrading WordPress ????
