The last update of the plugin deleted all my backups and set CHMOD to 500. It incorrectly sets directory permissions.

Otherwise, it was the best backup plugin.

The plugin does not have the ability to delete backups automatically. Backups can only be deleted manually by going to backups -> using the 3 dots menu -> clicking on the delete menu option.
Also, when creating files and folders, the plugin will use 0644 for files and 0755 for folders.
Something else should be causing this issue.

If your plugin didn’t do it, it’s weird that all backups were deleted and the “ai1wm-backups” directory had chmod 500. I found out by not being able to back it up. To be sure, I deleted the plugin and reinstalled it. I didn’t have any problems until the last update. I have WP 6.

Yes, you will want to investigate further what is causing this. There are no other reports from other users.
