It doesn't work on Multisite with the php 5.5

  • Hi,

    the plugin works perfectly on my live sites where it’s running with php 5.4.

    However, I’ve just tried the plugin on my localhost. It is working on a single WordPress installation. But on Multisite it doesn’t work. Only significant difference is that on the localhost I have PHP 5.5.

    I’ve tried with all other plugins deactivated but the problem persisted. And here’s what happens. After I save the settings everything will be annulled. i.e. I determine the networks which will appear (Twitter, Facebook…) or the size of buttons, etc, hit the save button, but all fields appear empty.

    Other than that, maybe an option to exclude the buttons from appearing on certain page/post, through the shortcode or something, would make the plugin perfect.

    Thank you for your kind words.
    Tbh, I have not tried it on multisite and/or php 5.5.
    I have tried it on normal WP site and php 5.3 and 5.4.

    About excluding the buttons. I can write a shortcode in order to exclude the buttons by typing it on the post/page etc.

    I’m not sure would the shortcode be the best way to exclude the icons. It would be good enough for the individual pages, but I see more problematic that the icons are appearing on all Custom Post Types and on Category/Tag pages.

    If the icons are set at the position ‘After article’, the main problem I see on the Categories/Tags pages, is that icons are appearing after every post’s excerpt, i.e:
    Post1
    icons
    Post2
    icons
    Post3
    icons
    etc

    Always is an option to play around with css and to exclude them from appearing on some pages but it’s not convenient and even more troubled is that the whole FASI’s code isn’t encompassed all together. What I mean is when you enter a title, i.e. the ‘Text before”, it will come with h4 tag but outside of the .wpfai-list class, which means it’s more hard to exclude the whole output.

    Once more time thanks fro the great plugin. Apart from the above I really like it. Thanks!

    I plan to put options about custom post types, taxonomies, excerpt, full article etc on next version.
