• Update: It works now, thanks for the fix. Now, if only there were an easier way to create customised forms. How do we make sure our forms look how we wanted without breaking it if the plugin updates?

24-SEP-2014: It’s not me, it’s the plugin… the API key I have works with the other plugin named: “Mailchimp Subscribe Forms”

Anyone know the cause of this problem?

Thanks for the feedback. It’s most likely your password manager entering your websites password into the API field. Many users have reported the issue, due to the API key being encrypted for security reasons on multi-user sites and the input type being set to password.

I would recommend re-entering the API key in private browsing mode, or simply turning off any password managers that you have running. If you can get it to work, or would like help getting it to work you can always reach out to us via the support forums. Hopefully you can get things resolved and try out the plugin, and update your review as we know you’ll really enjoy it.

    Thanks,
    Evan

Didn’t have any PW managers yet. But it works now after an update, thanks!

    Hey Vmercader,

Thanks for updating the plugin and your review, it is much appreciated. I’m very glad to hear that the new update was able to resolve the issue for you. I will be looking into what the cause may have been for the 5.1 update. Sorry about the issues , and thanks for the patience in getting things resolved!

    Evan
