    Hi,
as the title suggests, I noticed that the Plugin does not work correctly with Custom Post Types.
I have tried both locally and online.
In detail: I created a custom post type that hosts another custom post type inside; separately they work correctly, but if I have them on the same page, for example, the progress bar does not work, or the background color of a block does not work and so do the other controls.
I did the same test with the normal posts and even in this case it doesn’t work correctly. If I have 2 posts on the same page in either of them the controls don’t work well.
Another example: on the archive page if I set posts showing the content of each post, the controls also don’t work well in this case.

    Hi @franchidesign

Could you please test this with latest update and let me know if that fixes this issue or not?

    Thanks

Hi @munirkamal, I just tried the Twentytwentyone theme which has the ability to show both the expert and all the content of the Posts in the archive (index). If you try to put 2 Progress Bars in a post you will see that they don’t work in the archive …. while in the single post it works correctly. Now I’m designing another theme and haven’t had a chance to test it on Custom Post Types, but you’ll see it will return the same error ..
Same problem happens with background colors and other Plugin controls as well.

    Regards

    Denis

    Hi @franchidesign

Ok I get it now. Yes this is an issue and this happens with other plugins as well. The issue is that Gutenberg strips the CSS in that archive block.

Technically there is something that needs to be done in Gutenberg API as well to make it happen. There is a similar issue related to “Reusable Blocks” as well, that might explain a few technical aspects of this to you.

Rest assured, I have this on my list to resolve as soon possible.

    Cheers
