    There will probably be some teething problems with Gutenberg when it gets released because its radically different from the existing WP editor. Thankfully they will include the option to edit post content via the ‘Classic’ editor post release.

    thank you for the hint, but what you recommend I did already.
    I tried to enter the shortcode in 2 short code widgets and it did not work.

    So it is something still “unperfect”

    I’ll worry about Gutenberg when it’s officially released – it’s still in a Beta testing phase – and WordPress 5.0 will be it’s official release.

    Gutenberg has been in the pipeline for at least a year now, and I’m guessing its taking so long because they have loads of plugin/theme compatibility issues to iron out.
