    Hi!

I have a 2 language website using WPML plugin. I have build a custom footer using WP Bakery builder and I am using a shortcode do display that on my pages (have inserted the shortcode in php). I works in the default language but when I select english page the footer remains in slovenian language. I have translated the page so that is not the problem. Do you have any ideas?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Thanks for the details, we’ll try to reproduce this issue next week and get a fix out. We had WPML compatibility at one point, so it’s possible something needs to be updated.

In the meantime, please check whether the page you are inserting has a unique slug in each of its translated pages. If they share the same slug, you’ll need to use the page ID in the shortcode instead. Here’s the note from the Settings page:

If your site reuses page slugs (for example, WPML sites often use the same page slug for each translation of the page in a different language), you should use page IDs.

I have tried every variation in the settings page and also used slugs and IDs but the result is the same. If you can take a look into this it would be awesome.

    Best,

Aloha, just an update, we’ve reached out to the WPML folks to get a developer copy of their plugin for testing. Once that is set up, we will work on reproducing your issue and see if we can get a fix out.

Can you provide more details on your specific configuration? We have tested WPML compatibility and everything seems to work fine.

What does your page structure look like? How are you creating your footer, and how is this footer reused across different pages? Is it a widget, or manually added to individual pages? Can’t you directly point to the different translated page slug/id in each footer language version?
