• Hello,
I’m a newbie with WordPress and I’m facing a problem.
I have created a multisite and 1 website underneath.
Yesterday I uploaded via FTP the public folder of my wedsite.
The result is that now I can’t access to the multisite admin section anymore from my local installation, I need to change the site domain in Local Software everytime. In addition if I’m connected to the multisite admin section, I’m not able to see the website I developed and get the error message “Too Many redirects” all the time. I searched a bit how to solve this problem and I found many comments about checking the .htaccess file. I searched for it in the folders and did not find it (also searched the hidden files).
Is there anyone that can help me to solve this problem? I’m also willing to export the website from the multisite and run it alone if needed. Would that be enough to solve the issue?

    Thanks a lot
    Marco

  • Hello,

If I understand correctly, you moved the site from local development to a live server and now you can’t access it from the local environment anymore?? This needs clarification.

As for the redirects, I once experienced that on a multisite I was managing and installing the Really Simple SSL plugin solved that.

    Cheers.
