Issues with WordPress 5

  • There seem to be some issues after upgrading to WordPress 5.
    Although in general it seems to work, publishing or posting new content fails.
    Any insights would be appreciated.

  • Had the same issue when I upgraded to WP 5. After a bit of testing different options, I found that reverting to the classic editor enabled me to use WP 5 with the sqlite plugin.

    Not quite sure why the new block editor would cause this behaviour unless it contains a dB access that bypasses some of the dB classes or it contains an sql query that can’t be converted to an equivalent sqlite query.
