Issues with uploading the XML file and importing from WordPress.com

  • Hi. I am exporting a blog from WordPress.com to www.remarpro.com using an xml file that was created after exporting from WordPress.com. When I upload the file into the WordPress Importer in the new blog, the browser log would show that the download % is stuck, and then crash into

    “This site can’t be reached

    The connection was reset.”

    It took multiple attempts until it finally goes through.

    When it did, and I finalized the importing and click submit, it fails to post multiple media image files, regardless of the storage.

    What’s going on? Why does it have trouble uploading the XML file? Why does it not upload all of the media?
