Issues with Title Bar / bread crumb

We are currently moving off .net to wordpress. I am not a wordpress boffin, but I am struggling with the breadcrumb / header on the pages.

Firstly it is way to big. Can I make it smaller without changing the CSS?
Secondly it always adds the word “Archive” under products and when viewing posts. I want to delete that.

There is another issue with the post menu when it always displays the slider even when I say “no” so dont access the posts via /blog
