    Hello wordpress community!

Please excuse my question, I am new to the wordpress world!

I’m having an issue with previewing my WP site and I’m not sure why.

I have installed wordpress (3.5.1) through my hostMonster account by using easyscript. I am currently using a temporary url since I would like to have my old site active as I build the new WP site. Everything seems to be set up correctly, my settings in WP detail that my url and domain are set to my temp url.

However, whenever I try to preview my WP site I get some old content that a web designer created for an old site of mine. Does anyone know what the issue could be? Why doesn’t WP do an overwrite on that old content?

Any words of advise would be appreciated!

Please clear local browser cache and also flush DNS…that said, if your links are specific to that (old) domain, that is where the link will take you…right click the link and review it…

Hi Seacoast Web Design. Thanks for your response. I already tried those suggestions and it doesn’t seem to be a browser issue, also other people have previewed my temp url and the old content still shows up…

What are the URL’s in question? Have you asked your hosting company for help with this?
