First off, let me just say the issues I have been experiencing are fairly minor. I appreciate all the hard work you have obviously been putting into this plugin and I am not trying to overwhelm you, just make you aware of issues in case you or someone can find a fix.

I have JetPack installed and use some (not all) of its features. I use its Sharing buttons and there is an issue with the Twitter share button. It does not recognize the language tags properly. When I click the button, the actual Tweet includes all tags and language versions of the page title. Oddly, the button does appear to work properly for posts, but not for pages. The Facebook and Email buttons seems to work properly. I’m not sure about the other Sharing buttons included with JetPack.

JetPack’s “Top Posts & Pages” widget also does not recognize the language tags. The widget displays all tags and language versions of the page/post titles.

Is this still an issue in the latest from github https://github.com/qTranslate-Team/qtranslate-x, otherwise please close the topic?

I did a quick test with JetPack’s Top Posts & Pages widget and it does still list the pages with all language titles and the language tags. The Twitter share button is still behaving the same way (works for posts, but not for pages).

I have not had a chance yet, but I intend to post about this issue in the JetPack forum as well. Maybe it’s more of a JetPack issue, or maybe there is some sort of conflict with my theme and/or other plugins.

I was able to fix the Jetpack Sharedaddy Twitter share button issue where the title in the resulting Tweet was not translated properly. I found the filter “sharing_title” and added it to the Custom Filters box under qTranslate-X’s Advanced Settings. Now the title is translated properly for both pages and posts. Before, post titles were OK, but page titles contained all language versions and the tags.

I was also able to fix the Jetpack “Top Posts & Pages” widget issue. Again, I found an applicable filter (“jetpack_widget_get_top_posts”) to add to the Custom Filters box under qTranslate-X’s Advanced Settings. Now the page/post titles appear in the appropriate language rather than all languages plus language tags.

I don’t use all Jetpack’s features, so maybe there are issues with some other features. However, adding the filters discussed has solved the issues I originally posted about in this thread. So I am marking this issue as resolved. ??
