Sidebar background not loading in IE 11 in custom theme

  • Good morning everyone.

    Just a quick lead-up…I’m two months in to an IT admin job at a city library. The previous tech treated the place like is own personal playground so the clean-up has been time consuming. I’m not a website guy at all so I’m hoping to get a bit of help here.

    The old version of WordPress we use notwithstanding…..The library had a company create the website about 5 years ago…. https://www.urbandalelibrary.org. If you click on any of the links at the top (Using the Library, Materials Search, etc) you’ll see that the left sidebar background doesn’t show at all in IE 11 but does work in IE 9, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and even Project Spartan. It looks like there is an ie.css file that loads when using IE so I’m guessing something in there needs to change.

    I’d appreciate any help at all.
