“Hey folks, I’m trying out the Copy Page plugin for duplicating WordPress pages and posts, but I’m stuck on one specific thing.

So I managed to duplicate a page just fine, but I noticed that some of the page builder custom settings didn’t transfer properly. I’m using Elementor, and the styles/layout don’t fully match the original after duplication.

Could someone explain why this might happen and how to make sure all settings (e.g., custom padding, margins, fonts) carry over when duplicating? Am I missing a step, or is there a setting/plugin trick I don’t know about?

Any tips to save me from redoing all that work? Appreciate any help!”

    Hello @perscroschan ,

Our plugin is fully compatible with Elementor. However please note that it has many addon plugins and themes and other ad-hoc tools. In case that one such tool is adding a very specific meta to the page, you should enable Copy Delete Posts’ feature “All post meta”, which is located under plugin menu section “Which elements shall be copied?”.

Other than that please double check if your side has any other plugin for page copying and disable/remove it.

    Kind regards
