Issues with Redis Object Cache and AvaTax

    Hello,

    We are using Redis Object Cache on one of our websites. We were noticing an issue where taxes were randomly being displayed for certain areas where they should not have been. We reached out to AvaTax, who handles the website’s tax rates, and the creator of the WooCommerce AvaTax plugin. The devs for WooCommerce AvaTax suggested the issue was occuring due to a caching issue since there were no issues in their logs. When I disabled the Redis Object Cache plugin, the issue immediately disappeared. Is there a way we can bypass object cache for this plugin?

    They need to make sure their plugin works with a persistent object cache. We can’t fix that on our end, they can.
