    Dear Support-Team,

I am currently experiencing issues while using a Brevo/Sendinblue form with Google reCaptcha (v2, invisible) inside of a Pop-Up.

The error is: “reCAPTCHA couldn’t find user-provided function: onloadSibCallbackInvisible” and reCaptcha is therefore not loaded.

The plugin uses a window event listener (DOMContentLoaded) to define the callback function and the code is rendered as inline JS inside the pop-up element’s DOM. It seems that the event listener is not fired, as the callback function is not “visible” to reCaptcha.

Is there a workaround to e.g. re-define the callback on a global scope, or re-initialize reCaptcha after the pop-up is loaded? Any pointers are greatly appreciated! I will open a seperate support ticket for the Brevo/Sendinblue plugin to see if there is anything they can do.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hi @bwph ,

We checked https://www.urheber-prinzip.de/webinar-entspannte-eltern/ and saw a popup with a Brevo form.

We ran a successful test without reCAPTCHA.

    See: https://share.zight.com/7KuXyArm

Is that the form you are referring to?

    Did you disable the reCAPTCHA?

If you prefer to share more information privately, you could send us a message via Support Request – Popup Maker.

    We’ll wait for your reply.

    Hi @israelmartins,

    Thank you for your reply!

The pop-up you are referring to is not the one in question – sorry for the confusion. Please disregard the auto-opening newsletter pop-up and click on the big red “sign up” (“Anmelden”) button on the page – the form that opens should have a reCAPTCHA, but it is not working:

    Thank you for your assistance!

PS: Added Link to the support ticket in the Brevo plugin forum.

    Hi @bwph ,

    Thanks for the response.

We were unable to reproduce the issue with the popup from the “Anmelden” button.

    See: https://share.zight.com/yAunvPBB

    Did you disable the reCAPTCHA?

Note that a Popup Maker popup only serves as a container (like a page) for third-party content; it does not control how they function.

To make sure that’s the case here, could you try:

    1. Embedding the Brevo form with reCAPTCHA on a page (on the page itself, not within a popup), and
    2. Test to see whether the issue still occurs?

Let us know how it goes.
