Issues with Pinterest and Woocommerce
-
I need help.
I have been trying to sort numerous issues with Pinterest.
Started when I installed a few weeks ago.
At the start I was getting numerous errors that were false. Not true. I contacted support and they sorted them.
I was told I am set up with pinterest and ready to go.
But that was not true as I then got new errors.I should say pinterest did import my shop into pinterest fine yet claims there are issues as below.
All issues so far, are not showing my end and the chrome extension to test events and the pinterest page to test events, show there are no issues.
But Pinterest says otherwise! The errors are so vague and hard to figure out what I need to do to fix them, plus lots of pinterest plugin help pages are out of date or not existent so I can’t find out the answers.
My errors are:
Add to basket
Product ID
Too few of the Product IDs included in your Add to basket events match the product IDs in your catalogue.Checkout
Add a Checkout event that fires when someone successfully buys something on your site.Product ID
Make sure you are including Product IDs in your Checkout events. A Product ID can be any format you choose as long as it matches the format used by your catalogue.Value
This should be the total value of the completed order, without commas or currency symbols. Tax or delivery should not be included. For example, if a user completes checkout for a 10 USD item and a 12 USD item, Value would be 22. Example values: 1000, 100.50, 10000.00.Currency
If you choose to include Currency with your Checkout events, make sure you follow the ISO 4217 format. If left blank, this will default to your Pinterest billing currency. Example values: USD, GBP, CAD, EUR`I don’t understand where to see the product ID it is talking about on my site and on pinterest
Same as the others, I don’t understand where I can add any information it is needing. Can anyone help me?
As I said I have used the pintest chrome extension and the test events feature on the website and it says everything is good!
Nothing is wrong, but pinterest isn’t happy.I have searched, watched videos, read help pages all for about 2 WEEKS and this is still happening.
If I get a reply from support it either is unrelated or doesn’t give you any info on how to fix it. That is why I am here.
For info, I have decades of experience installing websites and wordpress so am not a newbie and have tried everything so far. I am newer to woocommerce and pinterest plugin though.
I am also chronically ill and disabled so this is really killing me as it is impossible to fix as I don’t know the actual issues as these errors are so vague. It is literally torturing me daily trying to find out what I need to do to fix it as it doesn’t tell you anywhere!
I have opened a ticket but takes a while to get replies and sometimes the reply is no help and I only get a reply once a day so takes forever. So I came here in case anyone can help.
