• Hi,

first i really like the plugin, its very useful!

But unfortunately on my site the protection of phone numbers dont work. I have tested different ways, but its not working.
I use Zakra on my site, are there known issues with it?

I use the shortcode as followed:
    [eeb_protect_content]<a href=”tel:+49XXXXXXXXXX″>start call!</a>[/eeb_protect_content]

Later, the phonenumber is visable when i hover over it and also in the code.

I assume the problem is Zakra, are there any knowladge about such problems with it?

    Thanks for your help!

  • I experience the same issue (without Zakra).

I’ve activated added “tel, file, ftp” in the advanced settings field ‘Protect custom href attributes’. It looks like it works (the key lock is displayed), but the phone number is machine readable in the source:

    <a href="tel:+32496XXXXXX" class="mail-link" data-wpel-link="ignore"><span id="eeb-800696-541729">+32496XXXXXX</span><script type="text/javascript">document.getElementById("eeb-800696-541729").innerHTML = eval(decodeURIComponent("%27%2b%33%32%34%39%36%58%58%58%58%58%58%27"))</script><noscript>*protected email*</noscript></a><i class="eeb-encoded dashicons-before dashicons-lock" title="Custom attribute encoded successfully!"></i>.

I would expect that the “tel:+32496XXXXXX” in the href would not be visible, but also the +32496XXXXXX in the span.
