    Hey,

Protected pages are not visible to logged-in users.
I just updated the plugin, but still the same.

It says “You need to login to view this content. Please Login. Not a Member? Join Us”.

I’ve been using your cool plugin for over a year and it started to happen recently, so I guess it’s not a plugin conflict but some general issue.

Please let me know about it. Thanks.

Hi, please provide a bit more information regarding your issue.

For example, who is logged in an admin or a member? If it is a member do they have the proper rights to view that page or post? If it is an admin did you enable admin rights to view protected pages and post while logged in?

You say that it used to work well, what changed in your site for the plugin to stop functioning correctly?

    Kind regards

We never changed the settings, at all.
    Can you help me please?

@mbrsolution could you please continue here?

I don’t know why it has been marked as resolved. I just changed it’s status as not resolved as I haven’t got any fix.

I just saw you’ve been asking for some things and I haven’t got these questions to my mailbox.

I haven’t changed anything and I double checked the permissions.

    Thank you

@sailook, are you talking about pages or post? How many different levels do you have? The pages and post that are protected, are they protected by one or more levels?

@mbrsolution, should I open a new support thread?
Or wait until seeing the solution for @sailook?

@mbrsolution the pages are protected and I have two levels.

I tried both levels – the main one is the Silver, but just in case I checked “visible for both” and despite that it keeps giving me “You need to login to view this content” message.

@sailook, try the following documentation. Just in case you trying to view a page while logged in as admin.

    Thank you

@mbrsolution I’m very familiar with the functionality of the plugin.

I’ve been using it for years and I always test it on my test accounts.
I got info about this issue from my members.

Please let me know how to fix it. Can you recreate it on your website?
@tamicabre is having the same issue, so I’m not the only one.

Hi, Currently the plugin has no issue with the content protection feature. Just to confirm it, I have tested all the protection and login option myself just now. This issue is specific to the site so it will be a matter of finding out what is going wrong on the site in question. Please go through the following forum post which will be helpful:
    https://simple-membership-plugin.com/forums/topic/common-reasons-for-member-login-related-issues/

I also want to clarify that content protection feature didn’t break in the latest release (we didn’t make any change in that functionality). If the content protection feature (which is a critical functionality) breaks then a lot of people will be complaining about it since it is used on thousands of sites.

This is what I needed @wp.insider. It looks like it was the caching issue.

Thank you so much for your help and for creating this awesome plugin.

    Best,
    L.
