Issues with other plugins

    when I installed wpspamshielf, I got this message on top.

    he following plugins might cause (xml sitemaps) issues with Yoast WordPress SEO: Google XML Sitemaps

    Are there any known issues with these plugins? since they are very popular plugins just thought i’d see why wp gives me this message.

    I think you may be misreading the error message. It sounds like the Yoast WordPress SEO plugin is saying that you may have a conflict because you have the Google XML Sitemaps plugin installed. Probably because the two plugins have a feature overlap, and when installing plugins, it’s generally advisable to avoid this.

    It doesn’t seem that the error message you’re referencing is related to WP-SpamShield at all. I scanned the code of the Yoast WordPress SEO plugin and it doesn’t even reference WP-SpamShield anywhere in the code.

    As far as I know, there are no known conflicts with those or any other SEO plugins.
