Issues with MP3 Files

I saw mention somewhere else that MP3 files should be linked as follows:
[audio src="https://www.DOMAIN.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/FILENAME.mp3"]
That worked on one of my articles for the AMP page. The other one shows my CDN is picking up the file, so the AMP page isn’t working.
In both articles, the regular desktop view doesn’t show the audio player because when the shortcode is converted an inline “visibility: hidden;” is added.
How do I get the player to show in both normal view and AMP pages?
