    Hey Guys,

We’re testing adding some specific schemas to the site and we’re running into an issue with the FAQ Schema.

Using the Google Structured Data Testing Tool we are seeing an error with the “mainEntity”, which you can see here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/p2169499n5j5w8u/DVP%20FAQ%20Schema.png?dl=0

I tried to edit the Schema to manually associate the “mainEntity” but that didn’t appear to be an option on the backend of the site: https://www.dropbox.com/s/6id8hwv55soa5jh/No%20MainEntity.png?dl=0

The only other option I’m seeing is the option to manually add Questions and Answers, but as we’re trying to add this schema to a specific group of posts they would not all have the same questions and answers.

So I guess my main question is what is the mainEntity field looking for, and how can we set it?

    Thanks!

    Good Morning,

    Awesome, thanks for the information!

I was able to locate the spot on the individual posts where we can enter the questions and answers, and once those were entered the error disappeared!

One thing I noticed is that it appears switching to the “Custom Schema” on the individual post wipes away any of the autofetched information.

Is there a way we can keep the autofetched information on all the posts, and ONLY add the custom questions & answers?

    Thanks!

We do not have that options right now. It will be implemented in our future updates.
