In another post here in this forum, I noted that it seems as though we’ve lost the ability to add links to images in a gallery…it looks as though that is now part of the Pro Version. But, even so, I’m having another related issue to links…

Apparently, if the above is true and we can no longer add links, for all images where we had links already in place prior to this change, those links remained intact and still work…as if we were “grandfathered in”. However, on any image where I did NOT have a link…if a user clicks on the image to zoom in, if they click on the zoomed image, it opens up a link from another image.

The page I’ve referenced is for sponsors of the page. If a user clicks on an image and a different sponsor’s page opens in a new link, then we have a problem.

I can’t find any way to stop that from happening…

  • You need to add the link from a different plugin.. I use Mesmerize Pro theme and they have a gallery option. So I access my images from there and add links. But when I go back to Robo Gallery, the link field is still greyed out haha. Perhaps you can try one of those free Gallery apps.

    Update to previous post:

I had forgotten that I have a paid PRO version of this plugin, so I should have access to the links feature on each image in a gallery. I deleted and re-installed the Pro Key and now it works again. But I do still have other issues, and I have submitted a ticket, which I hope is answered efficietly.

I never received a response from the developer. I’m found a work around for my issues, no thanks to them.
