Issues with IP Blocking and CPU Usage
-
Hello,
I’m using your excellent plugin and it has been very helpful. However, I am facing two issues:
- When I check the dashboard, it accurately distinguishes between human and bot traffic. However, for blocked IPs, the reason shown is: “Request blocked JavaScript Required, Fake Browser Accessing Restricted Content,” but the status is marked as “Flagged: 200,” meaning the request is passing through (200) instead of being blocked (403). This is confirmed in the server logs as well. Is it possible to ensure that requests from disallowed sources are blocked on the first attempt?
- The second issue is that when checking the dashboard, the CPU usage reaches 100%, causing significant load. I am using a somewhat older PC with a Core(TM) i7-6700 (Windows 11 Pro) environment.
Can you help me lower the CPU usage to reduce the load?
