    Hello,

after installing the plugin I found the next problems:

Youtube link not working properly. Before if I copied this line: “https://youtu.be/mdqBbvYX3MU” I automatically got the video inserted as a Youtube video. Thats not working now.

Images manipulation not working properly. Before when editing a post, if I clicked on image I had the 4 white squares on each corner of the image to resize it, now I don’t have that, they dont appear. Also when clicking I had the “pencil” icon to edit it’s properties and now I don’t have it.

    Any ideas please?
    Thanks!!

It works fine on the demo pages for me: https://aquoid.com/plugins/photonic/videos/. Can you provide me with an actual URL where it is not working? I don’t see any instances on the page you have linked. Photonic basically doesn’t touch a raw YouTube URL.

Again, this has nothing to do with Photonic. Photonic has zero impact on image editing, so my guess is that you are using a separate plugin for this. It is possible that the other plugin is conflicting with Photonic and that is causing you an issue, but without knowing what the plugin is I cannot say for sure.

    Thanks for your answer,

after checking again, I found the youtube link was failing as I copied it inside two <div> tags and did not realize.

BUT I have checked the image resizing thing, which is a wordpress default setting, not through any external plugin, and it works when I deactivate Photonic.

Here is a video I did right now for you.

“Disable shortcode editing in Visual Editor” seems to have solved the problem.

I cannot replicate this on my local installation, which is what leads me to think that this is due to a Photonic conflict with another plugin. Note that you have multiple plugins installed, and if one of those has a conflict with Photonic on your editor screen that might trigger unexpected behaviour. The other plugin doesn’t have to deal with photo editing / manipulation. It could be something that introduces a new post type / slider etc.

“Disable shortcode editing in Visual Editor” seems to have solved the problem.

While disabling Photonic’s editor works, I am pretty sure you could disable everything else and leave Photonic activated and see it working normally. Subsequently you can reactivate plugins one by one to see which one is conflicting with Photonic.

Anyway, the disabling button is meant to get around such conflicts, so if it works, well and good.
